Brighten Up with Exercise
If you're suffering from seasonal depression, light therapy is often recommended. But, you may not have time or resources to bask in the glow of this set-up.
Cheer up! Research shows an hour of indoor cycling can be as effective as two hours of 2,500 LUX (recommended measure of human brightness perception) of light therapy in treating SAD (seasonal affective disorder). Climb on and take advantage! Utilize natural lighting throughout your day for an extra lift. Pump weights, work, or read by a sunny window.
